Amon-Ra St. Brown helped the Detroit Lions to a 44-30 win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 14 on Thursday. St. Brown recorded 92 yards on six catches, setting a new NFL record in the process. The Detroit wideout now has the most receptions (511 catches) through his first five seasons in the league, surpassing former New Orleans Saints wideout Michael Thomas’ record. While St. Brown set an NFL record on Thursday night, he gave away his game-worn gloves to a fan. The Lions wideout now appears to regret that decision."It's different when you break a team record, I feel like, versus the NFL record, I feel like it just hits a little different," St. Brown said on his podcast on Wednesday. "So definitely felt good. I was able to keep the ball actually, you know, I gave my gloves away, which in the middle of doing I wasn't even thinking, and then right when I gave them to the fan, I was like, 'damn, I just gave my gloves away'."But so whoever has my gloves from that game, I would hold on to those, or you give it back to me if you want. But hold on to those, because I probably should have kept them. But it's all good, you guys. You guys keep it."The Lions took St. Brown with the fourth round of the 2021 NFL draft. He has grown into a key player for the team in recent years, having earned a Pro Bowl honor in the past three seasons.St. Brown is enjoying another excellent season with the Lions. He has caught 81 of his 117 targets for 976 yards and nine touchdowns, and should be on course to earn a fourth straight Pro Bowl selection.Amon-Ra St. Brown's Detroit Lions will face the LA Rams in Week 15 of the 2025 NFL seasonDetroit Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown - Source: GettyAmon-Ra St. Browns' Lions (8-5) will face the LA Rams (10-3) in Week 15 of the 2025 NFL season on Sunday.
