Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn doesn't have many fans after the team was dismantled by the Minnesota Vikings, 31-0, on Sunday. The Commanders didn't find an answer for Minnesota, dropping to 3-10 after a game that never went their way.

Commanders fans started calling for Quinn's firing as the team couldn't keep up with J.J. McCarthy and Co. at U.S. Bank Stadium.

"It’s time to fire Dan Quinn. The culture is dead. You cannot come back from a season like this. Thanks for the 14 win season, it was fun," one fan said.

"Is Dan Quinn the RG3 of head coaches?" another fan questioned.

"Quinn should be relieved of his duties. One of worst defenses ever in NFL history. Lots of luck last year.. this is who we are. If Commanders are serious about winning, need a change. Peters did not do him any favors," another fan said.

Others insisted that after a pointless performance and a poor outing from the defense, it was time to part ways with Quinn.

"How can Quinn not be on the hot seat now? Am fed up with these losers," one fan said.
"Quinn should be fired tonight. Make him take spirit back to DC. This is as bad as its ever been. Just horrible to watch," another fan said.

"Quinn should never be a HC ever again and I’m so serious," another fan said.

Dan Quinn says loss to Vikings was unacceptable

The Washington Commanders never found an answer for the Minnesota Vikings. Speaking with reporters, Dan Quinn expressed his disappointment after the shootout loss, labeling it as unacceptable.

“What I told the team was I thought we took a step forward last week, and tonight, I thought we took three steps back,” Quinn said.

“Tonight, to me, none of it was acceptable. Four division games in our season, and it is an absolute must that we recapture that forward progress that I saw in the last week because we absolutely did not have that tonight in all three phases all the way through.”

The Vikings racked up 313 yards against 206 from the Commanders. They completed six of 11 third-down attempts and recorded 5.1 yards per play. Washington is out of playoff contention now.

They will face the New York Giants, the Philadelphia Eagles (twice) and the Dallas Cowboys to close out the season.
