Fans roast Lamar Jackson in wild photoshop with J.J. McCarthy as Ravens QB's struggles come to limelight after loss to Bengals

Lamar Jackson's Baltimore Ravens suffered a 32-14 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 13 of the 2025 NFL season on Thursday. Jackson went 17 of 32 for 246 yards and an interception. He also fumbled twice and was culpable for three total turnovers.

After the game, an image of Jackson was photoshopped onto Minnesota Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy's outfit with his "mean mug" expression in the locker room, which has become a meme.

McCarthy's "mean mug" moment in the locker room occurred after Minnesota's 27-24 victory over the Detroit Lions on Nov. 2. However, since then, the Vikings have lost three straight games, and McCarthy has not lived up to expectations.

Some fans on social media also pointed out how Jackson hasn't been at his best this season.

"Lamar Jackson has been lowkey trash in 2025. No one talks about it, but maybe they should start," one fan said.

Jackson, a two-time MVP, has not looked like himself in the past few weeks. In his past three games, the Ravens QB has zero touchdowns, three interceptions, two fumbles lost, and has been sacked eight times.

Jackson suffered a hamstring injury earlier in the season, which forced him to miss three games. Although the Ravens have won three of the past four games after Jackson's return, the QB's individual performances have been worrisome.

Following Lamar Jackson's struggles in Baltimore's loss to Cincinnati, Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton defended his QB from criticism.

"(He's) a two-time MVP for a reason. Even LeBron has an off night," Hamilton said of Jackson's struggles.

The Ravens have a 6-6 record after Week 13. Although they are still in contention to make the playoffs, they will want Jackson to bounce back and lead the team to the postseason.

The Ravens lock horns with the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 14 of the 2025 NFL season on Dec. 7. The game will get underway at 1 p.m. ET from M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland.
