Jason Kelce was furious with Jalen Hurts' Philadelphia Eagles following the team's 22-19 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football. The reigning Super Bowl champions fell to an 8-5 record with their third straight loss. They made multiple mistakes throughout the night, including one of the most outrageous NFL plays of all time, featuring the Eagles quarterback.

Jason Kelce called out Hurts and the Eagles for their performance against the Chargers during the Wednesday episode of the "New Heights" show.

"It was just a frustrating game to watch," Kelce said. "As an Eagles fan, we just, like continually kept kicking ourselves in the foot. And, it was, turnover penalty down low takes us out of the two-yard line. I mean, it was just one thing after the other very frustrating game. Felt like there was more to be had." (14:41)

"It did feel like we were starting to click, and then every second we got into the red zone turnover... the interception to lose just it was just a gut wrenching way to end that one... One play obviously, the interception from Jalen. They pick it up. We force a fumble. Jalen recovers it, and then while he's still trying to get control of that thing, he fumbles it. It was just a comedy of turnovers all game long."

The most bizarre moment of Philadelphia's Monday night game happened when Jalen Hurts became the first player since at least 1978 to commit two turnovers on the same play. During a play at the Chargers' 2-yard line, the Eagles' QB dropped back and threw directly to Chargers defensive lineman Da'Shawn Hand.

Hand attempted to return the interception, but the Eagles running back Will Shipley knocked the ball out of his grip at the 24-yard line, allowing Hurts to recover it. Rather than securing the ball, the quarterback tried to gain more yards, but the Chargers' defensive tackle Jamaree Caldwell knocked it out of Hurts' grip. Linebacker Troy Dye recovered the fumble.

Jalen Hurts on his poor outing against the Chargers

Jalen Hurts addressed the media following the loss and took responsibility for the result. The Eagles quarterback said he would take time to evaluate his play. He added that he has to figure out how to win and expects the whole team to share that mindset.

Hurts believes the team's success and struggles begin with him. He admitted the loss hurts a lot, but what matters the most is the team’s response. The QB knows they need to dig deep to get back on track.

The Eagles host the Las Vegas Raiders (2-11) in the Week 15 game on Sunday.
