A. J. Brown's Philadelphia Eagles suffered a 24-21 loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 12 on Sunday. Eagles wideout Brown had 110 yards and a touchdown on eight receptions, but his team failed to win despite racing to a 21-0 lead over Dallas early in the second quarter. Despite his strong individual display against the Cowboys, Brown has been in the spotlight this season for his lack of production, mainly due to the way in which Philly's offense operates. Amid Brown's frustrations with the Eagles' offense, former Philly quarterback Donovan McNabb has urged the team to trade the three-time Pro Bowl wideout. On Monday, McNabb called in to "94 WIP Sports Radio" and used former Eagles coach Andy Reid to explain why a toxic culture can hurt the entire team. "When you have the right pieces, where you don't have to worry about that such stuff, that's the main thing," McNabb said. "And it's not Andy (Reid) and the culture that he built, because we know how the culture is, and what Andy was about. It's when you start bringing pieces in that the toxic, toxic talk starts to create a bad aura around the team.""So sometimes you may have to make that tough decision, and that's why I said this may be the last year for A. J. Brown because of all of this."Reid was coaching the Eagles when McNabb was the team's quarterback. The former Philly signal-caller also explained how current Kansas City Chiefs coach Reid traded wideout Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins in 2022 to keep his team successful despite the player's incredible on-field ability. Brown, who played an important role in the Eagles' Super Bowl success last season, has 567 yards and four touchdowns on 46 receptions this season. He has posted three games with 100+ receiving yards. However, there have been reports suggesting that Brown is not too pleased with his quarterback, Jalen Hurts. Last week, Brown avoided a question when asked if he had a rift with the signal-caller, sparking more uncertainty about the tensions in the Philly camp.A. J.
