The veteran running back was dealing with an AC joint sprain in the lead-up to the game, but he's now expected to play in Sunday's game at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Another added, "The question is…would you start him in fantasy? I have him on the bench."
One said, "Oh well not like it really made a difference if he was in the game."

Some fans were more positive about Jones' positive injury report.

One wrote, "Great news for the Vikings. Jones brings that steady grind to the backfield and could wear down Baltimores defense late. Without him last week Chandler looked lost at times. This tips the scales in a close one."

Aaron Jones joined the Minnesota Vikings via free agency ahead of the 2024 season. The former Green Bay Packers favorite posted career highs in rush attempts (255) and rushing yards (1,138) in his first season with the Vikings. He was key to their postseason appearance.

Jones brought postseason experience to a young Vikings side, and he showcased his ability to impact an offense in his eighth season in the NFL. So, Jones and the Vikings entered the 2025 season optimistic about more success.

Aaron Jones looks to help the Vikings in the playoff push

However, the 2025 regular season hasn't been kind to the one-time Pro Bowler. Aaron Jones missed multiple games due to a hamstring injury sustained on September 16 and only returned on October 22.

The veteran running back looked decent in their Week 9 win over the Detroit Lions, and fans will hope that he'll help in their playoff push. The Vikings enter their Sunday showdown against the Baltimore Ravens with a 4-4 record.

Aaron Jones reached the playoffs four times with the Green Bay Packers, so he's well acquainted with playing football in January. The 2019 NFL rushing touchdowns co-leader will aim to be a spark plug for Kevin O'Connell's side as they enter the second half of the regular season.
