All eyes are on Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Cam Ward during the clash against Cleveland Browns rookie Sheduer Sanders on Sunday at Huntington Bank Field.

Ward, who was selected with the No.1 pick in the 2025 NFL draft, threw an interception in the first quarter after Browns linebacker Devin Bush picked his pass.

While Ward was criticized for his sixth interception of the season, the Titans rookie ended the team's scoring drought in the first quarter. Heading into the Week 14 clash, the Titans were the only team not to score a touchdown on the opening drive this season.

However, Ward ended the drought with a 14-yard touchdown pass for fellow rookie Elic Ayomanor. The Titans reached the endzone on eight plays in a 53-yard drive. Ward went 4-for-5 for 48 yards in the opening drive for his eighth touchdown of the year.

The Browns' game against the Titans was billed as the clash between two rookie quarterbacks, Cam Ward and Sheduer Sanders. Ahead of the game, the No.1 draft pick reflected on his tussle against Sanders.

“I think both of us will just be great quarterbacks when it’s all said and done,” Ward said. "I just think both of us have the ability to learn different offenses, different aspects of football, how you have to see the game. And I just think the things that we can do inside the building to help bring people together, I think that’s the best thing about both of us.”

While Ward opened the scoring for the Titans with a 14-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter, Sanders helped the Browns bounce back with a touchdown pass in the second quarter.
