Shedeur Sanders finally made his debut for the Browns against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 11. His performance on the field gave a mixed feeling to fans with some saying he has potential and others arguing that Deion Sanders' son lacks the necessary skill set to be an NFL quarterback.Nonetheless, Deion Sanders was ecstatic seeing his son throwing passes in a regular-season NFL game. In a video posted on X on Monday, Coach Prime said,“Shedeur got in today, and I told him he was gonna get in,” coach Prime said. “But, I was thankful and happy. I was in tears. He called me screaming.”Deion saw his son leave his guidance after playing three years under him at Jackson State and Colorado. During his collegiate days, Shedeur recorded 14,327 passing yards, 13 touchdowns and 27 interceptions. Also read: Kevin Stefanski makes stance clear on Shedeur Sanders possibly starting in Week 12 amid Dillon Gabriel's injuryAlso read: "Shedeur Sanders was set up to fail": NFL fans rip into Kevin Stefanski and Browns after Coach Prime's son's disastrous debutShedeur Sanders weighs in on NFL debut in postgame presserShedeur Sanders didn’t sugarcoat anything after making his NFL debut in Sunday’s 23–16 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Thrust into action in the second half after Dillon Gabriel exited with a concussion, the fifth-round pick admitted he struggled badly.“I don’t think I played good … at all,” Sanders said in his postgame press conference. He pointed to a lack of chemistry with receivers like Jerry Jeudy, noting that his first throw to Jeudy all year came during the game.“We just got to go next week and understand … we have a week to prepare stuff I like to do.”The numbers were rough. Sanders went 4 of 16 for 47 yards, throwing an interception and finishing with a 13.5 passer rating. It wasn’t the debut Sanders envisioned, but with Gabriel in concussion protocol, the Browns may need him again soon.
