Cleveland Browns coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed on Monday that Shedeur Sanders will lead the team's offense in Week 13 against the San Francisco 49ers. It will mark Sanders' second start of his rookie season.

Ahead of the game, a report surfaced that an unnamed Browns player said Stefanski invited "Coach Prime" for dinner after Sunday's game against the Raiders, but Deion "flat out" refused the invitation. The claim was made by Quantrell Bishop, a longtime Browns follower, commonly known as El Presador.

Bishop, who claims to be a former NFL player with access to the Browns, detailed what he heard from inside the organization in a video on X.

"One guy told me that Stefanski immediately following Sunday's game tried to reach out to Deion Sanders and tried to set up a dinner date like he did with Dillon Gabriel's dad. Deion flat out told him 'no.' Stefanski is trying to ingratiate himself with the Sanders clan and save his job, and I'm glad Deion told him no."

Shedeur Sanders was initially listed as the QB3 on the Browns' depth chart at the start of the season. He then served as the backup to fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel after the Browns traded Joe Flacco to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Sanders finally got his first NFL start against the Raiders on Sunday, with Gabriel in concussion protocol. He did fairly well, completing 11 of 20 passes for 209 yards, one touchdown and one interception, leading Cleveland to a 24-10 win over Las Vegas.

Sanders spent his entire collegiate career, two years at Jackson State and two years at Colorado, with Deion as his coach.

“So you just wanna start trouble, huh?”

Sanders went on to describe his relationship with Stefanski when asked about the Browns coach.

“What people do outside of the building is really not in my control. It’s not in my power. … Overall, I’m just happy to be here. Coach Stefanski been coaching since I got here and he been doing a very good job with everything that’s going on.”

Sanders will be eager to lead Cleveland (3-8) to another win. However, the 49ers (8-4) will likely pose a sterner test than the Raiders.
