Shedeur Sanders was initially projected as a first-round pick in this year's draft. However, he ended up going to the Cleveland Browns in the fifth round with the 144th overall pick. The quarterback spent the season as a backup option on the depth chart before making his debut during their 23-16 loss to the Ravens in Week 11.

Shedeur took to the field in the second half after QB1 Dillon Gabriel suffered a concussion. He has then replaced the ex-Oregon star as the team's starter and secured a 24-10 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 12. However, Coach Prime's son lost the last two games against the San Francisco 49ers and the Tennessee Titans.

Against the Titans on Sunday, Shedeur Sanders completed 23 of 42 passes for 364 yards and four total touchdowns. He put up a better performance than Cam Ward, who completed 14 of 28 passes for 117 yards and two touchdowns. In the end, the Titans secured a 31-29 victory while improving to a 2-11 record.
