Darius Slayton goes full circle proposing to GF Anna Hall at the exact place where couple's love story began

Love is in the air for Darius Slayton, who made a significant off-field move. He got down on one knee and proposed to his long-time girlfriend, Anna Hall. It was a full-circle moment for both the athletes, as the New York Giants wide receiver chose the exact spot where they first met to propose. Hall is the reigning U.S. heptathlon world champion.

The couple shared a joint Instagram post on Friday announcing their engagement. The first picture showed Slayton kneeling on the track with a ring in his hand. Hall wrote a heartfelt caption summing up her emotion on this special day:

"My whole entire heart in the exact place we first met, I got to say yes to me & you forever ❤️"

In the post, Hall is dressed in a sleek black mini dress paired with a black leather jacket. On the other hand, Slayton chose an all-black outfit for his big day.

"On Saturdays, I have my hardest workout of the week, an 800-meter workout, and so I always take him to the track for that because it's just me and my coach. And he'll run the warm-up with me, do all my drills with me, and then once I spike up, I leash him up somewhere so I don't accidentally run into him, and there's no accidents,” Hall said. (00:43)

“I try to avoid the word superstition because I never know I'm not going to be able to do it, and I don't want to freak out. So I try to call them routines, but they definitely are superstitions. I have a few that are pretty important to me. I like to drink and eat certain things. I like to journal,” she continued.
