Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones didn't hold back when discussing CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens' recent controversy ahead of the Week 11 duel against the Las Vegas Raiders. The wide receiver duo missed curfew ahead of the Monday Night Football matchup, which resulted in an in-game punishment.

Neither Lamb nor Pickens was on the field for the team's first series. On Thursday, Lamb admitted that he and Pickens missed curfew, while clarifying that he didn't throw up at a Las Vegas casino.

During a Friday appearance on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas, Jerry Jones was asked about his thoughts on what happened with his star duo. Jones said that he has no problem with partying, but it's different when it interferes with the players' commitments.

“Yes, I do. I don’t have any problem with partying," he said, per Jon Machota on X. "But the idea is this is a business trip.”

This remains a popular topic ahead of the Cowboys' Week 12 duel against the Philadelphia Eagles, but it didn't matter much during Monday's game. CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens put up a show to help the Cowboys secure a 33-16 win over the Raiders.

Pickens was targeted 11 times and caught nine passes for 144 yards and one touchdown. Lamb was targeted seven times and caught five passes for 66 yards and another score. They had a field day against the Raiders, but the message from Jones was clear.

After the Cowboys secured the fourth win of the season, coach Brian Schottenheimer discussed the decision to bench CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens. The first-year head coach didn't share details of what happened, but revealed the players understood the call.

“There were some things that were missed, so had a conversation with those guys and that was easy,” Schottenheimer said, per ESPN. “But you look at the energy those guys play with, they literally jump-started the offense when they got back in. They didn’t hang their heads, didn’t do any of that stuff. That’s why I love those guys, man.”

The Cowboys will face a tougher challenge on Sunday, as they host the division leaders, the Eagles, in a game that could define the remainder of the season for the "Lone Star."

They are one game below the .500 mark, and beating the Eagles would boost their expectations for the final stretch.
