"Choose your family or choose Jordon Hudson": Bill Belichick’s daughter-in-law Jen reportedly issues ultimatum to 8x Super Bowl winning coach

UNC coach Bill Belichick was reportedly involved in a family fight with his daughter-in-law, Jen Belichick, over his relationship with Jordon Hudson.

According to the New York Post, Jen confronted Belichick inside his office on Nov. 8. She allegedly told everyone that all Hudson “does is control s–t” and called her “bats–t crazy.” Jen also allegedly claimed Hudson was influencing the 73-year-old, saying Jordon was “f**king twisting” his brain and told him to “wake up.”

She then allegedly gave Belichick a direct ultimatum, saying, 'You choose your family or you choose Hudson.' The New York Post reported that witnesses said Jen’s 'rant' lasted nearly 40 minutes, and that she kept yelling at Hudson while the legendary coach stood only a few feet away. During the argument, Jen also reportedly made fun of Hudson’s clothes and appearance.

At one point, Jen also reportedly pointed fingers at her father-in-law and her husband, saying:

“He [Bill] wants to fire you [Steve]. He wants to f**king disown me, disown me. I don’t f**king care.”

According to The New York Post, the blow-up occurred immediately after UNC defeated Stanford 20-15 at Kenan Memorial Stadium in Chapel Hill on Nov. 8.

It was UNC’s Homecoming game. The win was the Tar Heels' second straight victory after defeating Virginia the week before.

Jen Belichick is married to Bill Belichick's second child, Steve, who is currently the defensive coordinator at UNC, working directly under his father. He previously coached with the New England Patriots (2012-2023) and Washington Commanders (2024).

Tension between Jen Belichick and Jordon Hudson surfaced earlier this year when Jen called out Hudson after a clip of her cutting into Belichick’s CBS interview went viral.

During the April 27 “CBS Sunday Morning” segment, Bill was asked how he met Hudson when she interjected, “We’re not talking about this.”

A few days later, former Patriots stars Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski talked about the moment on their “Dudes on Dudes” podcast on April 30. They suggested that Hudson, 24, was “working with Coach Belichick in the professional world” as his publicist.

Comedian Nikki Glaser agreed with them in an Instagram comment, writing:

“100% this. She’s acting as his publicist. Publicists do this during interviews. People are out for blood.”

Jen shot back at that idea and replied:

“Publicists act in a professional manner and don’t ‘storm’ off set delaying an interview.”

Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson's relationship continues to draw attention, primarily because of their 49-year age difference. Belichick and Hudson reportedly first met on a flight in 2021.

Bill Belichick showed up to support Jordon Hudson for cheerleading competition

Bill Belichick was seen in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Nov. 16, supporting Jordon Hudson at a cheerleading competition.

Hudson was making her competitive cheerleading debut with Code Black, a co-ed team that has won three world championships. Belichick kept a low profile at the event, wearing a gray hoodie and standing off to the side while he watched her perform.

Hudson took the back center flyer position in the routine and ended her performance with a gesture that some fans thought looked like a crown. Belichick attended the event just one day after his UNC team lost to Wake Forest, which dropped its record to 4-6.
