The Kansas City Chiefs and Washington Commanders are set to battle in primetime to conclude the Week 8 slate of NFL action. It will also be the concluding battle of many fantasy football matchups. With so much on the line, choosing the correct players to play and predicting the correct outcome could win or lose the game for managers.
Sportskeeda is here to help. Here's a look at what to expect in the contest and what that means for certain choice fantasy football players.

The Kansas City Chiefs are healthy and heating up. The Washington Commanders, meanwhile, are on shaky footing. Jayden Daniels is expected to miss the contest, but not much longer after, according to Dan Quinn via USA Today. Nevertheless, Daniels missing the contest against the reigning AFC Champions instantly sets up the team for a big loss.
Even if Daniels was around, the contest would be a tall order. The Commanders are set to play in Kansas City, making matters worse. The Chiefs are likely to win the contest by multiple scores, ending the game well before the fourth quarter.
Expect the Chiefs to win 32-13.
Chiefs vs. Commanders fantasy picks

Don't expect big things from Kareem Hunt, who has seen his usage decline every game since Week 4. The game will script well for the team's running backs to do well, but Hunt has been far from the focal point of the rushing attack for some time.
Patrick Mahomes will have a clean game statistically, but the best games for fantasy football quarterbacks are shootouts, and the Washington Commanders won't be able to keep pace. As such, expect a big first half and a largely quiet second half for Mahomes.
Terry McLaurin has struggled on the field this season and has struggled even to see it. After missing several games, the receiver is ready to lace them up, but the Chiefs have seen their defense tighten in recent weeks, so don't expect a big game from McLaurin, who now has to work on finding chemistry with Marcus Mariota.
Isiah Pacheco could be the biggest name of the contest with the score and usage likely to line up in his favor.
