Lamb recorded 75 yards on four receptions, but failed to score a touchdown. Some fans also suggested that Dallas could trade Lamb in the offseason and extend receiver George Pickens' contract. However, Cowboys insider Jeff Cavanaugh shared why it would not be feasible for Jerry Jones' team to trade Lamb.

"Trading CeeDee Lamb would eat $55 million of cap space next year it's not realistic," Cavanaugh tweeted on Sunday.

Pickens had an excellent outing against the Eagles, recording 146 yards and a touchdown on nine receptions. The WR, who was acquired via a trade from the Pittsburgh Steelers in the offseason, already has 1,054 yards and eight touchdowns on 67 receptions.

Meanwhile, Lamb has 632 yards and two touchdowns on 44 receptions.

Lamb signed a four-year, $136 million extension with the Cowboys in August 2024. However, the four-time Pro Bowler is being outperformed by Pickens, who will become a free agent in the 2026 offseason.

Although Lamb has not been poor this season, he has not been performing to the level of his high standards.
