CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens received praise from Cowboys wide receivers coach

Alleged disciplinary issues aside, CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens have been bright spots for a squad that is struggling to find its identity.

While Lamb is having a down year by his lofty standards, Pickens is seemingly on his way to rediscovering the 1000-yard season he accounted for as a Pittsburgh Steeler in 2023. Together, they have accounted for over 1,000 receiving yards, and Pickens has been the Cowboys’ leader in touchdowns.

Earlier this month, before the team’s bye week, wide receivers coach Junior Adams said the two were developing chemistry.

“It's really impressive to see just the relationship those two guys have on and off the field. You see them out at practice, they're always together. They're attached to the hip. They're always talking through not only life things, but just what's going on football-wise as far as how to run a certain route or concepts.”

He also made sure to praise the rest of the corps:

“Outside those two, there’s been a lot of growth, especially with some of the injuries that we had and guys not being available, like, (Ryan Fluornoy) stepping up has been good, (Jalen Tolbert) has made some plays. So its’ cool to see those guys coming together.”

The Cowboys next host the Eagles on Sunday. The kickoff is at 3:25 p.m. CT on Fox.
