Cardi B–Offset feud escalates as rapper abruptly deactivates Instagram 1 day after getting called out by ex-wife

Offset has reportedly deactivated his Instagram account a day after his estranged wife Cardi B called him out for his social media post. The “WAP” singer had just welcomed a baby boy with New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs. She announced the big news on social media last week.

Following the news, Offset reportedly shared a black screen on his Instagram story with a three-word caption that says:

“My kid lol.”

Cardi B, in her response, shared a long post on her X (formerly Twitter) account, which she later deleted, calling out the rapper for allegedly harassing her.

"Y’all be thinking it’s so funny and it’s not.. it’s been over a year and I’m still being harassed and threatened to the point that I feel like my life in danger.. it’s all fun and games until it’s too late,” Cardi wrote.

“Mf’ers do anything for attention and it could get real nasty with just one upload… LEAVE ME TF ALONE,” she added.

A day after that Cardi B post, Page Six had reported that Offset had officially deactivated his Instagram account. Anyone who clicks on his Instagram profile gets a message that says:

“Profile isn’t available. The link may be broken, or the profile may have been removed.”

Cardi B and Offset had filed for their divorce in August 2024, and soon after, she announced she was pregnant with the rapper’s third child. She gave birth to the couple’s second daughter in September, and toward the end of the year, she was linked to Stefon Diggs.

This year, she welcomed a baby boy with the NFL star amid her ongoing legal divorce battle with her estranged husband.

Offset denies posting about Cardi B’s kid

Offset’s Instagram post went viral on the internet. However, a spokesperson for the rapper opened up to TMZ, saying the post was “fabricated.” The spokesperson said:

"Any statements attributed to Offset circulating on social media are completely fabricated. Cardi responded to misinformation, and the situation escalated unnecessarily. Offset has remained supportive of Cardi and genuinely wishes her nothing but the best."

Cardi B shares three kids with Offset — two daughters and a son. Their eldest daughter, Kulture, was born in 2018, followed by their son Wave, now 4 years old, and their second daughter, Blossom, born last year.
