New York Giants rookie running back Cam Skattebo suffered a season-ending ankle injury last week. His father, Leo Skattebo III showed support for his son's team on Sunday afternoon (2 November).In a post on X, Leo Skattebo III shared a photo of himself at MetLife Stadium for the New York Giants Week 9 matchup versus the San Francisco 49ers. He expressed sadness in his son not being able to take the field but still sent well wishes to the New York Giants."Good luck #NYGiants wish my boy @camskattebo5 was out there," Leo Skattebo III wrote.In Week 8 in an NFC East matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, Skattebo suffered a dislocated ankle and was rushed to a local hospital in Philadelphia. He underwent surgery that night and days later it was revealed that he also suffered a fractured fibula as well as a deltoid ligament rupture.Rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart is now without his top two targets in Skattebo as well as wide receiver Malik Nabers who tore his ACL earlier this season.Cam Skattebo shared update after season-ending injuryNew York Giants rookie Cam Skattebo had been a bright side for the offense this season.
