The couple began dating in 2018 when they met as freshman at Iowa State University. It wasn't until 2022 that they went official on social media with their relationship during the quarterback's first NFL season. In July 2023, Purdy proposed to his longtime girlfriend in a beach proposal while they were on vacation. The couple tied the knot in March 2024 in Iowa. Brock Purdy was the last player drafted in the 2022 NFL Draft but, due to injuries to fellow quarterbacks Trey Lance and Jimmy Garoppolo, Purdy appeared in nine games, starting five.
