Fred Warner played in six matchups for the Niners before his injury this season. The team entered Sunday night's home game with the Atlanta Falcons with a 4-2 record.

This is Warner's ninth season in the NFL. Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Nirav Pandya estimated it will likely take around six months for him to return to the field.
