Quarterback Brady Cook was signed to the New York Jets active roster ahead of Week 14 after Justin Fields suffered an injury. He saw his first action in Week 14 after Tyrod Taylor suffered a groin injury after just six plays. With Taylor and Fields still out, the Jets tapped Cook to make his first NFL start of the season in Week 15. The undrafted rookie out of Missouri had the support of his parents and fiancé, Carli Schieferle, who were in attendance.Schieferle shared a photo of Cook taking pregame warmups and cheered him on.
