Nick Wright has a warning for Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills ahead of their Week 9 showdown against the Kansas City Chiefs. On Tuesday on "First Things First", he urged Sean McDermott and his team to treat this AFC rivalry game with more urgency compared to the Chiefs.

"For the Chiefs, it's just a Week 9 game," Wright said. "But it's very fun for the Chiefs to get prepared for the actual Super Bowl with someone else's Super Bowl. The Bills' annual Super Bowl is this Sunday at Highmark Field.
"And here's what going to be interesting about it. For the last bastions of Chiefs doubt out there, no matter what happens, people are gonna say it's bad. Because if they lose, it's bad. And if they beat the Bills, folks will be like, 'Well, it always goes whoever loses in the regular season loses in the playoffs.'"

On the other hand, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are 5-3 after their 28-7 victory over the Washington Commanders on Monday. The three-time Super Bowl champion has recorded 2,099 yards and 17 TDs passing, along with four rushing touchdowns.

Josh Allen shares his thoughts on the Bills' passing game inconsistency after Sunday's victory over the Panthers

In the post-game press conference, the quarterback highlighted the issues in the team's passing game and their reliance on a running offense. Despite the problems in the passing offense, Allen is not concerned about the situation.

"I'm not concerned at all," Allen said as per Billswire. "It's an easy clean up, and again it's just trusting the guys out there, trusting my feet, and putting the ball where it needs to be."

Against the Panthers, Josh Allen completed 12 of 19 passes for 163 yards and three total touchdowns, out of which two were rushing scores. He also broke Cam Newton's record of having the most games with one passing and rushing touchdown (46).

The Bills vs Chiefs Week 9 game kicks off this Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on CBS.
