Chicago Bears rookie wide receiver Luther Burden III took a dig at Philadelphia Eagles superfan and podcaster Gillie Da Kid following the Bears' 24–15 victory over the Eagles in the annual Black Friday game. Gillie posted a video on Instagram shortly after the game, in which he went on a long rant about the Eagles' performance.

Luther Burden III's most impactful play was an 11-yard reception to secure a first down. He could have gotten an even bigger gain when the Bears' quarterback targeted him downfield past the sticks. But Williams overthrew the pass.

Luther Burden III's Bears take down the Eagles

The Chicago Bears entered Lincoln Financial Field on Black Friday and bullied the Philadelphia Eagles throughout the game. The Bears didn’t need to pass because the Eagles couldn't stop the run as D'Andre Swift and rookie Kyle Monangai combined for over 250 rushing yards. For the first time since the 1985 season, two Bears running backs breached the 100-yard mark in the same game.

The Eagles trailed 10-3 at halftime, and a 33-yard touchdown pass to A.J. Brown cut the lead to 10–9. However, their biggest weapon backfired as Jalen Hurts fumbled the snap during the "Tush Push" play in the fourth quarter, and the Bears recovered it. Chicago's offense grabbed the opportunity and Kyle Monangai rushed in for a four-yard touchdown.

Caleb Williams delivered the knockout blow. The Bears quarterback threw a perfect 28-yard touchdown to Cole Kmet to make it 24-9. Philadelphia scored with over three minutes left on the clock to reduce the deficit to nine points, but it was too late.

The Bears will be on the road to take on the Green Bay Packers in the Week 14 game on Sunday, December 7.
