CBS announced on Thursday that Wilson will join "The NFL Today" broadcast.
He is third on New York's depth chart behind Jaxson Dart and Jameis Winston after opening the season as the Giants' starter. Three straight losses ended the experiment by Week 4. He also had a disappointing relief appearance in Week 10 against Chicago. Wilson completed 3 of 7 passes for 45 yards while watching a comfortable lead evaporate.
Russell Wilson insists he's not done playing

Russell Wilson's stats this season cratered across every major category in his six appearances. He completed just 58% of his throws while averaging under 140 yards per start. Wilson's passer rating barely cracked 77.
However, he maintains that he's got more football in him. Wilson made his position clear about 2026 and beyond before Week 11.
"I still want to keep playing football," Wilson said on Nov. 13, via Fox Sports. "I know what I'm capable of. I know how great I am. I know what I've done."
New York is Wilson's third stop in three years. He bounced from Denver to Pittsburgh before landing with the Giants on a one-year, $10.5 million deal.
