Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair made a controversial play during Houston's 27-19 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in a Monday night showdown. In the final moments of the first quarter, he chased down quarterback Sam Darnold near the sideline. As he tackled Darnold near the boundary, Azeez Al-Shair did not let go. Instead, he continued to tackle him as the players ended up out of bounds. The officials penalized the Texans 15 yards for unnecessary roughness, giving Seattle a first down at the Houston 11-yard line instead of facing fourth down and a possible field-goal try from the Houston 22. The Seahawks scored a touchdown on the ensuing play. However, the penalty was not enough to satisfy the rage NFL fans had over Al-Shaair's actions. Some demanded stricter actions by the league and wanted the linebacker banned from professional football."Ban him from the league," one fan commented.Ben @TheHurricaneBenLINK@_MLFootball Ban him from the league."Azeez Al-Shaair #0 is a dirty player.
