Since the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are not playing on Thanksgiving Day, Baker Mayfield can spend some time with his family. On Thursday, Mayfield's wife, Emily, shared a picture of her pregnancy bump on he Instagram story, along with a heartfelt message for her to-be-born son.
"So so thankful for this growing life," Emily wrote on her IG story.

Last week, Emily and Baker announced they were expecting a second child, a son, who is due in April 2026. The couple is already parents to a daughter, Kova Jade, who was born in April 2024.

In a news conference last week, Baker said that he would allow his to-be-born son to choose any career path he desires.
“We did just a little private reveal,” Mayfield said. ”Just the fam. But yeah, obviously fun. Everybody is like, ‘Are you going to let him play football?’ Do whatever you want.”
Baker also joked about the expectations around being a father to a boy.
“My parents didn’t want me to play football at a certain point, when your kid wants to do something you encourage him to do whatever he wants to do … I’m going to have a little sh*thead on my hands,” Mayfield said.
Baker and Emily reportedly met in 2017 via a mutual friend, and hit if off. They married in July 2019.

Baker Mayfield's Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-5) will face the Arizona Cardinals (3-8) in Week 13 of the 2025 NFL season on Sunday. The game will kick off at 1 p.m. ET from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
The Buccaneers are leading the NFC South. However, they have lost three games in a row. Mayfield and Co. will aim to get back to winning ways on Sunday to pull away from their divisional rivals.
