Baker Mayfield's wife Emily reveals couple's 'shocking' prediction for 2nd baby before gender reveal

Baker Mayfield's wife, Emily, announced her second pregnancy via a joint Instagram post with the Buccaneers quarterback on Tuesday. Less than a day after breaking the major family news, Emily invited a series of questions from her fans, which she answered through her Instagram stories.

During a quick Q&A session, a fan asked Emily if she and Mayfield had "any intuition or feeling that this one was a boy before the reveal?"

Emily admitted that she and her husband had a strong feeling for a baby boy. Therefore, they were completely shocked when their prediction came true during the gender reveal.

"Bake and I both guessed, boy! But it was still shocking to see, since all we know is having a girl!"

The answer was followed by another question in which a fan asked Emily about her daughter Kova's reaction to becoming "a big sis". Emily dropped a hilarious reply, warning her 1-year-old daughter about the upcoming responsibilities.

"This princess has no clue what's coming, lol. BUT she does love babies......as long as mama isn't holding them," Emily wrote.

Emily Mayfield's second pregnancy announcement attracted a lot of attention from not just fans but many NFL celebrities, including Trevor Lawrence's wife, Marissa. Marissa shared a 5-word message in the comment section of Emily's Instagram post through which she broke her family expansion news.

"So excited for you guys."

Apart from Marissa, the comment section also featured reactions from Patrick Mahomes' wife, Brittany, NFL reporter Erin Andrews, and Kyle Juszczyk's wife, Kristin. As for Brittany, the Sports Illustrated model shared a 3-word message which read:

"Ahhhh congrats guys!!!"

"Congratulations you guys!!!!" commented Kristin.

The influencer hinted at wanting to have around 4 kids with Baker Mayfield.
