George Clooney asked a question that captured the frustration of the fanbase of Joe Burrow's Bengals.
The actor has roots in Cincinnati. Born in Lexington, Kentucky, Clooney spent his formative years in the greater Cincinnati region before launching his Hollywood career.
"Well, I worry," Clooney said on Wednesday (Timestamp: 1:18:35), via the "New Heights " podcast. "I mean, you know, it's not like Flacco wasn't putting up good numbers. So what do you do? Listen, it's been, it's an issue, yeah, no, it's an interesting thing to be a Cincinnati fan in general.
"Between Joe Burrow and our WRs, we have some amazing receivers and (Ja'Marr) Chase and those guys. It's fun to watch again. That part's fun. It's just heartbreaking to try to stop a run. Are you guys gonna win at all this year?"

The Bengals dropped to 3-8 before Burrow returned against Baltimore on Thanksgiving. Cincinnati won 32-14, but the playoff picture looks grim for the franchise.
George Clooney says Travis Kelce broke him as a Bengals fan

George Clooney revealed his frustration to Travis Kelce during his podcast appearance. The Chiefs tight end has tormented the Bengals repeatedly over the years.
Kansas City defeated Joe Burrow & Co. in the 2022 AFC championship after Cincinnati eliminated them from the same round in 2021. The teams met again in Week 2 of the 2024 season, with the Chiefs escaping with a one-point victory.
"Travis, you broke me, man," Clooney said. "I'm a Bengals fan, dude, I grew up in Cincinnati. You've broken me so many times, and your pretty face (is) on GQ. You know how many times I've thrown a hoagie at my TV at your face? You've broken me."
Kelce stressed that the Benglas passed on drafting him in 2013 despite playing college ball at the University of Cincinnati.
