Antonio Brown's 'The Boys'-inspired reaction to Sydney Sweeney’s viral red carpet look
Antonio Brown grabbed attention online with his reaction to Sydney Sweeney’s appearance at Variety’s 2025 Power of Women event on Wednesday. The Hollywood actress wore a sheer silver gown.
Brown responded by posting a GIF inspired by Amazon Prime’s "The Boys," featuring the character “Homelander” smelling a carton of milk.
Sweeney addressed her look during the event, sharing a powerful message about resilience and self-worth.
“I know what it feels like to have people define you before you’ve had a chance to define yourself,” Sweeney told reporters.
“I know what it feels like to have to prove that you deserve to be here, to be seen, to be taken seriously. Every one of us has our own fight. Strength doesn’t look loud sometimes, and sometimes it’s about getting up again and again, no matter who is watching.”
Brown played 12 NFL seasons after being drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2010, recording 928 receptions, 12,291 yards and 83 touchdowns. He won the 2021 Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Brown announced his retirement in March 2023, although he has teased multiple returns since.
