Former NFL wideout Antonio Brown is reportedly facing a lengthy prison sentence after being charged with attempted murder stemming from a May shooting following a celebrity boxing event in Miami. Initial reports claimed that Brown could face a maximum of 15 years in prison, but that could extend up to 30 years, with a mandatory minimum of 20 years due to Florida's 10-20-Life law.

Brown was apprehended by U.S. Marshals in Dubai on Nov. 6. He was then extradited to the United States and first sent to Essex County Correctional Facility in New Jersey, before being moved to Florida.

After spending two days in jail, Brown was released from Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami-Dade County on Thursday after posting a $25,000 bond.

Brown is currently under house arrest with a GPS ankle monitor. However, if he is found guilty, he could face a minimum of two decades in prison.
