Aaron Rodgers threw his teammate and WR Jonnu Smith under the bus after the Pittsburgh Steelers' 26-7 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. In the post-game press conference, the veteran quarterback said that he and Smith were not "on the same page" on the offense. This allegedly resulted in the missed opportunity to score a touchdown on the field. Rodgers also implied that some players would be present during film sessions physically, but mentally their heads were not in the game. This, he believes, impacts the team's overall performance on the field."When there's film sessions, everybody shows up," Rodgers said. "And when I check to a route, you do the right route. Jonnu and I weren't on the same page. I checked to his in-breaker and he ran an out-breaker."Jonnu is a true professional, so I'm sure he's sick about that. ... We have our meetings every week, we have our opportunities outside of the facility. And, look forward to seeing all the boys there."During a second-and-10 play in the fourth quarter, Aaron Rodgers lobbed a pass down the field. However, he could not connect with Jonnu Smith, who ran an out-route, for a touchdown, resulting in an incompletion. The quarterback ended the game completing 10 of 21 passes for 117 yards and no touchdowns. The Steelers' only score of the night came in the first quarter when RB Jaylen Warren scored a rushing touchdown in the first quarter.Following this loss, Mike Tomlin and his team are placed second behind the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North with a 6-6 record.Aaron Rodgers addresses his injury concerns during loss to the BillsIn the third quarter of the game, Rodgers was sacked by Bills DE Joey Bosa. The tackle resulted in him fumbling the ball, which led to Christian Benford scoring a touchdown.Aaron Rodgers had a bloody nose after he was tackled by Bosa. Mike Tomlin then decided to replace him with backup Mason Rudolph for the rest of the game. In the post-game press conference, the four-time NFL MVP provided an update on his injury."I hope it's not broken but yeah, just had to stop the bleeding. It was bleeding all over the place," Rodgers said as per ESPN's Brooke Pryor. The Pittsburgh Steelers next face the Baltimore Ravens (6-6) on Sunday, Dec. 7, at 1 p.m. ET.
