According to reports, Patrick and Rodgers first met at the 2012 ESPYs and initially connected via email before their romance became serious. They reportedly began dating in 2018, until their breakup was confirmed in July 2020.
Earlier this year, Patrick recalled her breakup with Rodgers on "The Sage Steele Show."
“It was sudden,” Patrick said. “It felt like my life was gone overnight. It was everything—my home, my routines, even the little details. And because the relationship was emotionally abusive, it wore me down to nothing.”
Patrick is a retired racing driver. She competed in the IndyCar Series from 2005 to 2011 and in the NASCAR Cup Series from 2012 to 2018.
Patrick became the first and only woman to win the 2008 Indy Japan 300. She had seven podium finishes during her IndyCar Series career.
