Former Philadelphia Eagles star DeSean Jackson has suggested that Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown may have a personal rift, which has led to the receiver's reduced involvement in the offense this season.Brown has expressed frustration with the Eagles' offense and his lack of targets on several occasions this season. Earlier this month, The Athletic's Diana Russini reported that other offensive players were also "frustrated" with Hurts's approach and his apparent reluctance to make passes in tight windows. On the "House of Action" show on Thursday, Jackson discussed the situation."I feel like he (A.J. Brown) has brought a lot of attention to himself," Jackson said. "I think he is a hell of a talent. As a wide receiver you should want the ball. But when you're in an instance where you're doing these gimmicks or you're out on social media... you're saying all this, and if you're going to bring this attention to you, that means you have to be on your game that much more."As you can tell, it's something else going on. And I got a great relationship with him. I respect him. I can't say it. But I know it's something else going on. It's not all about football, it's not all about X's and O's. I've had situationships with quarterbacks I didn't necessarily like. And when it ain't there, it sticks out like a sore thumb. That's all I'mma say."Brown has tallied 457 yards and three touchdowns in nine games. Last week, during their 16-9 victory over the Detroit Lions, he had seven receptions for 49 yards and no touchdowns.Jalen Hurts addresses report of frustrated offensive playersDuring Wednesday's press conference, Jalen Hurts addressed a report suggesting that Eagles players were growing frustrated with his performance. He said he is "not surprised" by the situation and is putting in effort to improve each day."This is kind of the nature of a position like I said. But, you know, put my energy and put my focus on trying to go out there and do my best in work every day, and continue to go out and try to do my best."I guess I get a lot of attention when things are going well and when things aren't going so well, I never run away from holding myself accountable. I think that's exactly what I've taken the approach of doing."Hurts has thrown for 1,995 yards and 16 TDs, while rushing for 265 yards and six scores this season. The Eagles are 8-2 heading into Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys (4-5-1).
