A.J. Brown met with Philadelphia Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie on Thursday during practice at NovaCare Complex. The meeting happened after the wide receiver publicly complained about the team's offensive issues. He called the offense a "sh*tshow" during a Twitch stream on Wednesday, expressing frustration about struggling to get involved in the game plan.
Brown was asked to share the details of the meeting; however, the three-time Pro Bowler declined.
"I'll keep that between me and him," Brown said on Sunday, via The Athletic's Zach Berman.

Brown's season-long discontent with his usage erupted during the livestream with Twitch streamer Janky Rondo to play Madden NFL 26. The wide receiver made candid comments about his situation, before joking that fantasy football managers should get rid of him.
"Where have you been?" Brown said. "Family's good. Everything else? No. It's a sh*tshow. You on some 'How you been?' I've been struggling, brother."
Brown clarified that his remarks targeted the entire Eagles offense, stressing it can’t rely on the defense to save the unit. He urged his teammates to contribute more.
Brown assured Lurie he would avoid venting his frustrations on social media moving forward, according to ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio. He reportedly apologized for venting his frustrations online, but the team owner responded by telling his star receiver that he didn't need to. They ended their meeting with an embrace before Brown returned to practice.
A.J. Brown's production hits new lows
A.J. Brown’s targets improved in October after a slow September. He had a 121-yard, one-touchdown performance against Minnesota; however, after the Week 9 bye, his production dipped again with just 13 yards.
Meanwhile, DeVonta Smith has emerged as the team’s WR1, leading in every major category and has nearly 250 yards more than Brown.
Brown's comments reflected mounting frustration over underutilization. He has 31 receptions for 408 yards and three touchdowns through eight games, ranking 63rd in receptions and 51st in receiving yards in the NFL.
Brown signed a three-year $96 million extension (according to Spotrac) in August 2024, making him one of the league's highest-paid wide receivers.
