He also highlighted how the WR focuses on attaining personal milestones rather than achieving team success, referring to his complaint about not being targeted by Jalen Hurts during the early phases of the 2025 season."A lot of people are going to be pissed at me, and he might even be pissed at me," Joyner said. "But in a lot o ways he's a typical, you know WR, you know, 21st century WR diva. Okay? And he's selfish. Because when he was getting the ball on regular basis, there was no complaints. Like the Eagles lost two games in a row, and A.J. Brown had 9 plus targets and a touchdown. You ain't complaining now? Okay."So, that tells me that all of that b*****ng and moaning was self-centered. Okay. You want to hear something crazy? I had a Hall of Fame WR call me and he said that this team would probably be better off without A.J. Brown. ... If they are taking you away with coverage and your teammates are getting it done, you mean to tell me you can't be happy for your teammates and be happy that we're winning?"Throughout the season, there has been some tension in the locker room involving Brown and quarterback Jalen Hurts.
