Retired Super Bowl XXXIII champion Seth Joyner did not mince his words when criticizing Philadelphia Eagles WR A.J. Brown.

On Monday, on the "94WIP Morning Show", the ex-NFL linebacker talked about Brown's "diva-like" behavior this season. He also highlighted how the WR focuses on attaining personal milestones rather than achieving team success, referring to his complaint about not being targeted by Jalen Hurts during the early phases of the 2025 season.

"A lot of people are going to be pissed at me, and he might even be pissed at me," Joyner said. "But in a lot o ways he's a typical, you know WR, you know, 21st century WR diva. Okay? And he's selfish. Because when he was getting the ball on regular basis, there was no complaints. Like the Eagles lost two games in a row, and A.J. Brown had 9 plus targets and a touchdown. You ain't complaining now? Okay.

"So, that tells me that all of that b*****ng and moaning was self-centered. Okay. You want to hear something crazy? I had a Hall of Fame WR call me and he said that this team would probably be better off without A.J. Brown. ... If they are taking you away with coverage and your teammates are getting it done, you mean to tell me you can't be happy for your teammates and be happy that we're winning?"

Throughout the season, there has been some tension in the locker room involving Brown and quarterback Jalen Hurts. Apart from this, reports also surfaced about how coaches and teammates weren't happy with the quarterback's approach on the field.

However, in the past two games, A.J. Brown has been seeing more of the ball despite his team's loss to both the Cowboys and the Bears. Last Friday, during their 24-15 loss to Ben Johnson's team, the WR had his best game of the season, recording 132 yards and two touchdowns receiving with 10 catches.

NFL analyst sides with A.J. Brown while taking a shot at Jalen Hurts after Week 13 loss to the Bears

One of the major reasons for Brown's frustration is Hurts' priority on a rushing game. During their loss to the Bears, he completed just 19 of 34 passes for 230 yards, along with the two touchdown passes to the three-time All-Pro.

After the game, analyst Eric Sollenberger shared a tweet on X stating that A.J. Brown might have been correct about the Eagles' offensive problems.

"I'm beginning to think maybe AJ Brown has been right about everything. He might be the only sane person alive and we're all the crazy ones," Sollenberger tweeted.

Despite the two consecutive losses, the Eagles still lead the NFC East with an 8-4 record. They are next scheduled to face the Chargers on Monday at 8:15 p.m. ET.
