Harrison Jr. played through the pain against the Buccaneers but did not return for the contest after exiting in the fourth quarter. He made six receptions for 69 yards before exiting the game.

The Cardinals wide receiver will be joined by Trey Benson on the sidelines as the running back is also ruled out of Sunday's game. Benson has been out of action since suffering a knee injury in Week 4.

The team has set a Dec. 10 deadline for Benson's return. However, Benson has been held out of practice after looking uncomfortable during last month's open practice.

"Hope is not a great word (but) I hope so,” Gannon said. “He's trying his butt off. He's just not there yet.”

Injuries continue to pile for the Arizona Cardinals amid Marvin Harrison Jr.'s issue

The Cardinals are 3-9 for the season, and while they don't have playoff aspirations left, the team keeps getting hit by injuries. Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray, who has not been in action since Week 6, has been ruled out for the rest of the season.

"Kyler will not play again this year,” Gannon said. “He had some more tests done this week, went out of state, got another opinion on it. It's not progressing where it's going to make sense where he can go.”

Murray sustained a foot injury against the Tennessee Titans in Week 5 and has not been able to recover from his injury over the last two months.

“I just feel bad for the quarterback, you know what I mean?” Gannon said. “He got hurt and wasn't healthy enough to play. That's first and foremost. That's where I'd leave it right now.”

While Arizona's season is done after their postseason aspirations ended, they face a contending Los Angeles Rams (9-3) on Sunday.
