Jayden Daniels has not been seen since he horrifically dislocated his elbow during a 38-14 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 9. However, good news has emerged regarding his return to action. On Thursday, the Washington Commanders released their latest injury report ahead of Sunday's game at the Minnesota Vikings. In it, the quarterback was listed as a full participant.Head coach Dan Quinn had expressed optimism about his participation in practices on Wednesday:"I'm going to take it all the way through Friday. There are still functional evaluations to go through, but the game plan and practicing... is good. ... I’d say it's a little more challenging to work at quarterback when you're not doing the same contact. So, we'll have to simulate as much as we can, but he's off to a good start."Also upgraded to full participation were defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw (back, DNP on Wednesday) and linebacker Frankie Luvu (shoulder, limited on Wednesday).Defensive end Drake Jackson (knee/groin) and linebacker Bobby Wagner (knee), meanwhile, continued to be absent.Commanders OC Kliff Kingsbury reveals development goal for Jayden Daniels, corpsAt 3-9, the Commanders, barring a miraculous run in their last five games, are guaranteed to be eliminated from playoff contention. However, that does not mean their remaining games are not important. On Thursday, offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury stressed the importance of continuing to develop Jayden Daniels and his corps during the final stretch:“I mean, he loves to play the game, and so I think you start there with just his passion for it, the preparation, the process, all those things. So, just continue to learn as a player, grow as a player, and hopefully have some of these weapons out there with him that we can build some more rapport with going into next year."Of those primary weapons, only Terry McLaurin will remain under contract next year. Deobo Samuel, who was acquired in a trade during this offseason, will be a free agent come 2026, and so will be Noah Brown and Zach Ertz.Kingsbury continued:"We just want to play our best football at the end of the season. It's not the season that we had hoped for, there's no doubt, but as an offense, you want to continue to build and get better... So, we'll see. Get a couple of these pieces back and see what we can be these last five weeks."Kickoff for the Commanders-Vikings game is at 1 pm ET on Fox.
