#5 - Malik Harrison, Pittsburgh Steelers
Malik Harrison hasn't seen much work this season, but he is trending up in the work he has seen, tallying a season-high five total tackles.
With starting linebacker Cole Holcomb sliding into another season with availability troubles, per Sports Illustrated, Harrison could potentially see more work in future weeks. He's worth a speculative addition for managers who need to dig deep into the waiver wire to find production.
#4 - Khalil Mack, Los Angeles Chargers
Khalil Mack could end up with a higher sack total in 2025 than in 2024 despite missing about half of the Los Angeles Chargers' games thus far this season. Mack was at it again against the Pittsburgh Steelers, tallying a sack of Aaron Rodgers. It was his fourth sack in his past five games. You could do worse for your fantasy football team than adding the pass rusher.
#3 - Quincy Williams, New York Jets
Quincy Williams had his best game of the season against the Cleveland Browns, tallying eight total tackles and a sack. Williams hasn't been able to maintain perfect attendance this season, but has shown flashes in the five games he has seen action. It was his second game with at least seven tackles as well. He could work wonders for your fantasy football team.
#2 - C.J. Gardner-Johnson, Chicago Bears
C.J. Gardner-Johnson has had to move more times than most players in the NFL since 2022. However, something might be clicking between Gardner-Johnson and Chicago Bears defensive coordinator Dennis Allen, who coached the safety with the New Orleans Saints. The safety recorded a whopping nine tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble. It was his second game with at least one sack in a row.
#1 - Drake Thomas, Seattle Seahawks
Drake Thomas has been available and consistent throughout the entire season. The Seattle Seahawks linebacker has tallied at least five tackles in seven games this season, sprinkling a sack here and there as a bonus. If you need someone with a high floor for your fantasy football team, you could do worse than the ascending Thomas.
