Trade deadlines are rapidly approaching in fantasy football leagues around the world. Make sure you check your league settings to know exactly when the drop-dead date is for pulling the trigger on a deal.

This week’s list has a blend of players who are starting to come on, thanks to opportunity or injury. Some are just about to return to action, so we need to buy them now before their cost spikes. We’re also selling players with values that could soon plummet. Let’s get value for these assets to strengthen our lineups before the fantasy playoffs.

As always, use the Sportskeeda trade calculator to see if the trade on the table is fair or not:

Players to trade for

1. Jakobi Meyers (WR) JAX: News broke on Tuesday that Travis Hunter would be lost for the season. Add that to Brian Thomas Jr. missing time, and you’ve got a massive void at receiver for the Jaguars. At the trade deadline, the Jags brought over veteran wideout Jakobi Meyers from the Las Vegas Raiders.

In his first game as a Jag, Meyers ran 50% of the routes and saw a 16% target share. Those numbers are only going to rise as he becomes more acclimated to the offense. With the down year Meyers has already had and the underwhelming debut on Sunday, his cost to acquire shouldn’t be much at all.

2. R.J. Harvey (RB) DEN: More injury news came out on Tuesday as Denver announced running back J.K. Dobbins would be placed on injured reserve. Dobbins was dominating rushing attempts for the Broncos, and his absence should open the door for rookie R.J. Harvey.

It was Harvey who handled the only other running back carries for the Broncos in Week 10. On the season, Harvey is RB 23 in PPR scoring. That’s due to his prowess as a pass catcher. Now it appears he’ll get a chance to show off the running skills we saw in college that made him such an enticing prospect.

I’d make an offer immediately to get Harvey before the Dobbins owner knows what happened. There’s a chance a lot of guys get carries for Sean Payton, but I’ll bet on Harvey as the best of the bunch.

3. Omarion Hampton (RB) LAC: Here’s a common theme for the following two players: buy injured elite running backs. Hampton could return in Week 13 after the Chargers' bye. His schedule in the fantasy playoffs includes a tantalizing matchup with the Cowboys in Week 16.

Kimani Vidal is holding down the fort behind a beat-up offensive line, but Hampton is 10x the player of Vidal. If someone is still holding Hampton and needs immediate help, make that offer. Bucky Irving (RB) TB -- same theory on Bucky Irving. His owners are dying to have him back, but a shoulder injury is keeping him sidelined. When healthy, Irving is a top 10 running back on a high-powered offense.

This is everything we want in the fantasy playoffs. The Bucs' playoff schedule features run-funnel defenses: ATL, CAR, and MIA. See what the Irving owner needs to help his team immediately and stash Irving for a rainy day.

4. Woody Marks (RB) HOU: Three of his last four games are top 16 performances. Marks can play, and it’s finally starting to show. Besides his double-digit carries in four straight games, he’s seen 15 targets in the span. Marks is putting old man Nick Chubb out to pasture.

Marks ran 27 routes on Sunday. Add in his 14 rushing attempts to Chubbs’ five and you’ve got yourself a bell-cow runner. If his owner doesn’t know how good Marks is, steal him away for your playoff flex.

Joe Burrow (QB) CIN: If Burrow is on your waiver wire, add him. If someone owns him and has a competent quarterback, fire off a low-ball offer. That’s the beauty of one-QB leagues. The waiver wire is often full of decent options, and you can acquire backups for nothing. Burrow is likely to return in 2-3 weeks and will step into an offense that routinely drops back 40-plus times per game. Burrow’s playoff schedule includes matchups against BAL, MIA and ARI.

Players to trade away:

1. Tetairoa McMillan (WR) CAR: This Carolina passing game is brutal. The team hasn’t completed more than 19 passes since Week 2. The Panthers haven’t thrown for over 200 yards in eight games. This might be the worst passing offense in the league. Don’t own any pieces of it.

McMillan is WR 22, which carries weight in a trade. Looking deeper, TMac has just one top two finish in a month. Get out and sell on his early season success to get your hands on someone playing in an offense with a pulse.

2. Deebo Samuel (WR) WAS: Another receiver with a name that can get negotiations started. Samuel is WR 21 in PPR. I want you to sell off the back of his touchdown in Week 10. This offense is going nowhere fast with Marcus Mariota under center.

There’s no guarantee Jayden Daniels returns, and if he does, will your team still be in contention? Move Samuel before his Week 12 bye week. Samuel ran 81% of the Washington routes and saw a 24% target share on Sunday, so he’s not totally dead.

3. Garrett Wilson (WR) NYJ: Wilson is headed to injured reserve and won’t be back for four weeks. When he comes back, it will be the first week of the fantasy playoffs. Do you really want to trust a receiver with these awful Jets quarterbacks in your playoff matchup? I don’t.

Move Wilson to someone else who is set for the playoffs, and position it as a smart play they can unleash in the money weeks. Meanwhile, you’re getting an asset you can play immediately. Don’t sit on Wilson for a month. That Jets offense is grounded.

4. Alvin Kamara (RB) NO: Now is the time to sell Kamara. Coming off a solid Week 10 performance where he handled a season-high in carries is the perfect time to sell. This RB 17 performance was his first top 20 showing since Week 6.

Over the last three weeks, Kamara’s targets have fallen from where we are used to seeing him. Just eight balls have gone his way in the last three weeks. Get out there and sell Kamara to a running back-needy team and laugh all the way to the bank.
