Early Fantasy Football Start 'Em Sit 'Em Picks for Week 15 for playoffs ft. Bucky Irving, Josh Allen, Shedeur Sanders, CeeDee Lamb - Source: Getty

Week 15 is here, and in most fantasy football leagues, it means the playoffs are here as well. It could take only one bad pick to end your season. As such, it's important to spot the landmines before it's too late. Here's a look at some of the players you should give the green light to and some of the players you should give the red light.

Fantasy Football Week 15 Start 'Em picks

One of the premier fantasy football matchups of the week will be the Detroit Lions facing the Los Angeles Rams. As such, most of the stars from the contest will be great options, including Jahmyr Gibbs, Davante Adams, and Matthew Stafford.

Another solid contest to consider is the Arizona Cardinals matchup against the Houston Texans. The Texans are likely to have a much easier time in Week 15 than in Week 14 when the team's offense struggled in Kansas City. As such, with the Cardinals losing by wide margins in most of the team's recent games, expect Houston's offense to pop and Nico Collins and Jayden Higgins with it.

One more game to keep an eye on that could morph into a shootout is the Miami Dolphins facing the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday Night Football. Pittsburgh's defense has struggled this season, and if you have De'Von Achane or DK Metcalf on your fantasy football team, you could be in for another big day.

Achane is expected to be back in Week 15 and could have finished the contest in "an emergency," according to Mike McDaniel via a Sunday ESPN report.

Fantasy Football Week 15 Sit 'Em picks

While there are plenty of names to strongly consider starting this week, there are some names that should be avoided like the plague.

Lamar Jackson showed signs of life in Week 14 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but it was more likely a result of the Steelers' struggling defense than Jackson figuring it out or suddenly rounding back into health after missing the most practice he had had in several weeks.

The Dallas Cowboys are set to battle the tough-as-nails Minnesota Vikings defense on Monday Night Football. As such, unless absolutely necessary, don't start George Pickens or CeeDee Lamb. Minnesota has not allowed 26 points to an opponent since Nov. 9, which would severely limit the chance of either receiver scoring a touchdown. This sets a ceiling in fantasy football for both players.
