The Dallas Cowboys and Las Vegas Raiders have patiently waited all week long for their opportunity to play. On Monday, that wait ends. While neither team will be able to accomplish much even with a win in primetime, they have the opportunity to use the game as a chance to take the first of a series of steps to claw their way back into relevance, whether it be in 2025 or 2026.
Both teams are coming off a primetime game of their own, so once again, fantasy football managers will have an up-close look at whether they chose the right players. To help ensure a pleasant experience, here's a look at how the game could go and who you should strongly consider starting.
Cowboys vs. Raiders prediction

Dallas and Las Vegas are likely to be in for a competitive matchup. Dallas' defense has allowed at least 27 points in each of its last two contests, including 44 points to the Denver Broncos.
As such, expect somewhat of a shootout to develop. However, Las Vegas' offense isn't experienced in such an environment, so don't expect the team to keep pace with Dallas.
Dallas will win the contest 30-20, with plenty of points to go around for both teams, which sets up plenty of opportunities for fantasy football managers to cash in.
Cowboys vs. Raiders fantasy picks

Las Vegas will have a quality opportunity to feature its best players, including Brock Bowers.
Dallas traded their 2026 seventh-round pick per Ian Rapoport via NFL media for Logan Wilson at the trade deadline to attempt to strengthen their defense's ability to slow down tight ends, but it is unlikely to pay off against one of the best tight ends in the NFL when healthy.
Tre Tucker also makes sense as a player who saw his best game of the season against an opponent in the NFC East. You can also throw in Ashton Jeanty as a player to consider, although he's a bit more shaky of a choice against an explosive opponent.
Meanwhile, for Dallas, Jake Ferguson, George Pickens, CeeDee Lamb, and Dak Prescott could all be in for a big day. Ferguson has been trending in the wrong direction over the past two games, but he's worth one more opportunity. George Pickens and CeeDee Lamb find themselves vying for the top spot on the depth chart as two quality options, setting the stage beautifully for Dak Prescott.
