NASCAR recently featured 2025 Xfinity Series champion Jesse Love in an interview. During the debut episode of RISING, a new documentary series featuring new-generation drivers, Love opened up about his relationship with his father. The Richard Childress Racing driver explained how his father helped him become a better driver. He pointed out that despite having a great car and a good setup, his dad would purposely make things difficult for him. Love asserted that his father occasionally adjusted the car's setup to make it either too tight or too loose for his training.Jesse Love highlighted that his father has “sacrificed” a lot for him to become a race driver, and “racing well” is a form of showing his gratitude. Reflecting on that, Love said:"My dad told me this about a few years ago. He was like, if I knew we were going to a weekend and we, like, had an advantage on the field, like, we have fresh motor and had good tires and new shocks and springs and whatnot. He was like, I would make your car plow or make your car super loose, just to make you, like, work at it and not just go out there and learn nothing and lead every lap."“He's the most special person in my life. You know, we've been through a lot together, and he just sacrificed a lot for me and put his life on hold. So, yeah, it's the only way I know how to say thank you to him. So it feels he's the reason I want to do this. I feel like that's somewhere the closest.”Jesse Love has been competing in the Xfinity Series since 2024 under Richard Childress Racing. Since then, he has logged three wins and one championship title driving the #2 Chevy for the team. He will be driving the same ride for the NASCAR team in the 2026 season."I just feel so clean.
