On Monday, November 17, Richard Childress Racing announced that they signed Carson Brown, who will be working alongside them as a development driver in the 2026 season.Brown competed in the ASA STARS National Tour in the 2025 season and clinched the PepperJack Kennels 'Rookie of the Year' title. The North Carolina native also won his first STARS race in June at the Madison International Speedway, and made his debut in both the ARCA Menards Series.Carson Brown finished sixth at Five Flags Speedway in March and claimed two Super Late Model victories. Reflecting on the young talent, Richard Childress Racing announced his signing and stated:“Just signed: @cbrownracing joins RCR’s driver development program. We can’t wait to see what this young talent brings to RCR.”Carson Brown also earned three top fives and four top 10s in five TA2 starts. He also finished as the runner-up to Cole Butcher 2025 ASA STARS National Tour Championship standings. He had seven top-five finishes and nine top-10 finishes in 12 starts.Richard Childress Racing signed Brown, but has no immediate plan for the young driver. This could lead to Brown securing a ride in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series (formerly Xfinity), as Jesse Love has shown interest in competing in the Cup Series. However, Love will drive his #2 Chevy in the 2026 season."I just feel so clean. Love outperformed them in the Championship 4 race and clinched his first-ever Xfinity Series championship title. Reflecting on that, Love told the press:“I just feel so clean. So relieved. It’s been a tough year for me and people like my dad and my whole 2 team to work as hard on my own dream as I have… it just doesn’t feel real.”Jesse Love has been competing for RCR since 2024 and has bagged three victories at Talladega Superspeedway, Daytona International Speedway, and Phoenix Raceway for the team. He maintained an average start of nine and an average finish of 11.061 this season.
