Perkins has been competing in the Xfinity Series since 2021 and landed his first full-time seat with RSS Racing in 2024. He drove the #29 Ford for the team and wrapped the season in 27th place. Later, in 2025, he transitioned to Jordan Anderson Racing and piloted the #31 Chevy, securing a 26th-place finish.

Blaine Perkins earned four top ten finishes in his rookie season with the team. Reflecting on his potential, the team owner stated (via Si.com):

On the other hand, Jeb Burton's return will mark his fourth season with Jordan Anderson Racing in the Xfinity Series. He will be piloting his iconic #27 Chevy in the 2026 NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts season. Burton also clinched his maiden victory for the team in the car at Talladega Superspeedway in 2023.

"I accept NASCAR's penalty": When Jeb Burton accepted the Martinsville Speedway penalty

In April 2025, after wrapping the Martinsville Speedway race, NASCAR handed Xfinity Series driver Jeb Burton a penalty. Later, during a post-race interview, the Jordan Anderson Racing driver expressed his feelings on the same.

The US Marine Corps 250 ended chaotically with the governing body waving 14 yellow flags during the race. Following that, NASCAR issued penalties to multiple drivers, including Burton. He was penalized for his behavior during the infield care center, and the sanctioning body issued him a $5,000 fine.

Following that, Jeb Burton accepted the penalty and shared his thoughts on the same:

"I accept NASCAR's penalty for my conduct after the race in Martinsville. I was frustrated the entire night with the quality of racing, and an incident on the final lap pushed me over the edge. I apologize for going to the care center to air my grievance with another driver. I greatly appreciate the men and women that look after us each week. I'll always stick up for myself and my #27 team guys. On to Darlington!"

Jeb Burton wrapped the 2025 Xfinity Series season in 14th place with 719 points. He clinched eight top ten finishes and one top five finish at Talladega Superspeedway, where he finished second. Additionally, Burton maintained an average finish of 17.212 in 33 starts this season.
