NASCAR fans send heartfelt birthday cheers as Chase Elliott turns 30

Hendrick Motorsports took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and wished Chase Elliott on his birthday. The NASCAR Cup Series champion just turned 30.

Elliott’s fans dropped birthday wishes on his comments section on his special day. Here is the post by Hendrick Motorsports on X:

“Happy birthday to our favourite driver!” a fan wrote. “Thank you for all of the stress, nerves and excitement you cause us during the NASCAR months, we love it and you! Have the best day ever!”

Chase Elliott is fresh off his 2025 Cup Series campaign. He finished the season ranking eighth in points with two wins, 11 top fives, and 19 top-10s. Elliot’s first win of the season, which came at his home track in Atlanta, snapped a 44-race winless streak.

Elliot’s most recent victory came at Kansas on September 28, 2025. He now has a total of 20 career Cup Series wins. Elliott is also an eight-time recipient of NMPA’s Most Popular Driver Award in the NASCAR Cup Series.

Next up for the Dawsonville native is the Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium. Scheduled for February 1, fans can watch the race live on FOX Sports or listen to exclusive updates on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. The 68th Daytona 500, which is also the first points race of the 2026 season, is going to be held two weeks later at the iconic Daytona International Speedway.


Chase Elliott thanks his fans for eighth straight NASCAR Most Popular Driver Award

Chase Elliott has been winning the National Motorsports Press Association’s (NMPA) Most Popular Driver Award for eight consecutive seasons now. His father and NASCAR Hall of Famer Bill Elliott won the title 16 times during his career.

Other legendary drivers to have won the coveted title are Lee Petty (1953, 1954), Fireball Roberts (1957), Richard Petty (1962, 1964, 1970, 1974-1978), and Dale Earnhardt Jr. (2003-2017). Elliott is the most recent recipient of the honor.

“Just always want to make sure everybody understands how grateful I am for their time and voting and taking time out of their day to do that," Chase Elliott said in a statement.

“It's priceless. I just always try to make sure that's emphasized and I appreciate the people who've been so good to me and so good to my family for so long and that's the fans of this sport,” the driver added.

Chase Elliott is currently in his off-season. He will be back in his new No. 9 Chevrolet Camaro for the Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray.
