Kaulig Racing fields two full-time entries in the Cup Series with Ty Dillon in the #10 Chevy and AJ Allmendinger behind the wheel of the #16 Camaro ZL1. The team will become the first to feature two manufacturers under the same governing body. RAM will field five entries in the Craftsman Truck Series with the Cup Series team.

The team revealed the names of three drivers, out of five: Brenden Queen, Justin Haley, and Daniel Dye. RAM also announced that the fourth #25 entry will feature free agents. Following that, the NASCAR parody account, the Daily Downfords, shared a post claiming Mark Martin's return to the series as a free agent in the #25 truck.

The post read:

"@markmartin will return to the track at the age of 66, as the driver of the Kaulig/RAM All-Star Free Agent entry, set to compete at @NorthWilksboro."

This post got the fans confused, and they began asking Mark Martin if it was true. The 66-year-old NASCAR veteran cleared the confusion and wrote:

"Fake news."
"I’m done. I don’t have the desire to do it. I’m happy with the life I have now," he added.

Mark Martin competed for five years in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series during his career. He clinched seven victories, 16 top fives, 20 top tens, and three pole positions in 25 starts. Additionally, he led 864 laps with an average start of 7.

"I’m sure glad I raced when I did": Mark Martin got candid about the release of the new charter agreement

In October 2025, former NASCAR Cup Series driver Mark Martin shared his perspective on the release of the new charter agreement. The details of the new agreement were made public after Judge Kenneth D. Bell's ruling in the antitrust lawsuit against the governing body.

The charter agreement was first introduced in 2016 and has been modified for the first time since then. The agreement allows guaranteed entry to all charter teams in the Cup Series events. Following the change, NASCAR also updated the prize distribution system. The new format is based on the team's performance in the past two seasons.

Reflecting on that, Mark Martin wrote:

"I’m sure glad I raced when I did. What an era it was."

The governing body found itself in the situation after 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports refused to sign the charter agreement in October 2024. Following that, the team filed an antitrust lawsuit against NASCAR, accusing CEO Jim France of creating a monopoly in the sport.
