Hendrick Motorsports driver Kyle Larson's crew chief, Cliff Daniels, missed the media day availability ahead of the Championship 4 race. The 312-lap season finale race is scheduled for Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Phoenix Raceway.Daniels pointed out that the #5 Chevy Camaro ZL1 team had some tire problems during the practice session. The car also hit the wall during the session, and it took longer than expected to fix. Daniels further claimed that he and Larson were locked in to work on the car and lost track of time, hence missing the press session.Kyle Larson's crew chief later apologized for missing the media day and explained that the #5 driver feels comfortable with the car after the fixes.
