Former NASCAR Cup Series driver Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s sister, Kelley Earnhardt-Miller, recently shared an Instagram story of her son, Wyatt Miller, from Vado Speedway Park. The 13-year-old is set to compete in the 360 Winged Desert Series Season Finale Night #1 PRESENTED by HUBAND Motorsports.
The young Miller had a rich family history in professional racing from his father, L.W. Miller, and grandfather, Dale Earnhardt. Following that, Wyatt began his racing career by competing in the winged Outlaw Karts in the Midwest in 2020. Since then, Miller has secured the 2021 Beginner Box Stock Championship and the 2022 Restricted Micro Championship at Millbridge Speedway. Also, he clinched 72 victories in five seasons across multiple divisions.
Reflecting on her son's success, Kelley Earnhardt-Miller shared a clip of Wyatt from the 360 Sprint practice at Vado Speedway Park. She captioned the clip (via Instagram story):
"First 360 Sprint practice! @wyattmiller73 and yes I'm nervous."
Wyatt will work 1wayperformance to prepare his ride for the Vado Speedway Park event. The main race, the 360 Winged Desert Series, is scheduled for November 14, 2025. The pit gates will open at 4 p.m., followed by the grandstands at 5 p.m., and the main race will start at 7 p.m. Additionally, the winner of the event will bag $5,000.
“Wyatt's mother Kelley raced at the track in the mid-1990s”: When Dale Jr. dropped a heartfelt note on Kelley Earnhardt-Miller's son's achievement
In March 2025, two-time NASCAR Xfinity Series champion Dale Earnhardt Jr. congratulated his sister Kelley Earnhardt-Miller's son Wyatt on his latest accomplishment. After dominating dirt tracks, the son of L.W. Miller made his debut in asphalt racing earlier this year.
Wyatt has been competing professionally in multiple series since his childhood. Following that, Wyatt debuted in the late model series on March 8, 2025, at Hickory Motor Speedway and clinched a solid runner-up position. The track has a special sentimental value to the Earnhardt family.
Wyatt's great-grandfather, Ralph, grandfather Dale Earnhardt Sr., and his mother, Kelley Earnhardt-Miller, competed on the track. Reflecting on that, Dale Earnhardt Jr. wrote:
"My nephew Wyatt Miller raced at Hickory Speedway and ran 2nd in Limited Late Models tonight. His great grandfather Ralph won races and track titles there in the 1950s. Grandfather Dale Sr also ran and won there. Wyatt's mother Kelley raced at the track in the mid 1990s. 😎"
The eldest Earnhardt, Ralph, clinched five wins at the 0.36-mile short track during his racing days. Following that, the seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Dale Earnhardt Sr. secured multiple victories at Hickory Motor Speedway.
Former NASCAR Cup Series driver Dale Jr. also competed at the short track before his retirement in 2017. Wyatt's mother, Kelley Earnhardt-Miller, and father, L.W. Miller, competed at the 0.36-mile short track during the 1990s.
