Kaden Honeycutt’s dominance didn’t stop with the checkered flag, as the 22-year-old Texas driver earned an additional $1,000 award from Jerry Epps Landscaping for leading at the second stage break, which came at lap 175. That bonus brought his total earnings from South Boston’s Krush 250 to $13,000.

The Krush 250 wasn’t just about competition; it also served a special purpose as a fundraising event for the Ward Burton Wildlife Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to wildlife conservation and environmental outreach.

Additionally, a $3,200 bonus award was presented during Krush 250. Jeb Burton, who made his first start at South Boston, pocketed a $1,200 award for winning the pole position. While Doug Barnes earned a $1,000 award from J.E. Burton Construction Company for winning the first of the race’s three stages.

Kaden Honeycutt has been competing in the NASCAR Truck Series season since 2022. However, the 2025 Truck season marked his first full-time campaign in the series. The Willow Park, Texas, native made the most of it, making his first championship 4 appearance and scoring four top-five and 14 top-10 finishes with an average finish of 12.8.

Kaden Honeycutt won his second straight Krush 250 in an intense battle with Bobby McCarty

Kaden Honeycutt became the King of the Krush for the second year in a row. Reflecting on his fierce battle with McCarty during the post-race interview, Honeycutt told Matt Weaver:

“I made my adjustments in car to be able to roll the bottom as hard as possible, and we just got there off of (Turn) 2, and we were even in the 3, and next thing I knew, I was clear. I didn’t know if I hit him or not. I don’t think I did. I didn’t feel it.

“I love Bobby to death. We race really, really hard and really well, and we both had really great race cars. Before that, these cars on these heat cycles, it just messed the front up on our car and made us tight. I fired back off, and it went right back to where it was on the first run,”

Meanwhile, Bobby McCarty finished runner-up, followed by Parker Eatmon, Jeb Burton, and Blake Stallings in the top five. Doug Barnes, Deac McCaskill, Adrew Grady, Aiden King, and Lane Woods completed the top 10.
