In a recent post on X, Wallace replied to a video of him spinning out Earnhardt Sr. on the way to the lead. But the seven-time NASCAR Cup champion took just one 360-degree spin and gracefully returned to the race, losing only one spot.

"When I spun, Dale Earnhardt Senior out, he drove up next to me with that big mustache, and he just wag his finger at me😳," Kenny Wallace wrote.

Kenny Wallace's older brother, Rusty Wallace, won the 500-lap race on the paperclip short track. Meanwhile, Earnhardt Sr. raced his iconic No. 3 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing and came home second. Kenny in the No. 28 Ford for Robert Yates Racing finished the Goody's 500 fourth.

The 1994 season was a big one for Earnhardt Sr. He won his seventh and final Cup championship that year, which matched Richard Petty's record. Earnhardt Sr. also scored a total of nine wins, the last of which came at Darlington Raceway after leading 166 laps.

Kenny Wallace also reacted to another flashback photo from December 1, 2001, when Jeff Gordon, who played a huge role in taking the sport to mainstream audiences, celebrated his fourth NASCAR Cup championship at Times Square.

Gordon was one of NASCAR's most visible athletes in the 2000s. He appeared on late-night TV and on magazine covers. The former Hendrick Motorsports driver also hosted Saturday Night Live and landed big sponsorships, moves that matched his on-track success and boosted NASCAR's reach.
